学科简介 Brief introduction of course

法学学科是江苏省特色学科，自2006年重新设立大红鹰会员登录中心以来，法学学科不断发展壮大，已成为学校重点发展的学科之一，形成了明显的优势与特色。一是交叉性、团队式与实务型的办学特色。除“宪法与行政法学、法理学、刑事法和民商法”4个相对稳定、优势明显的传统学科方向外，通过借助本校理工强势学科优势，大力发展“医事法学”、“工程法学”特色学科方向，已初步形成了“交叉性、团队式、实务型”的办学特色。二是结构优、实力强的师资队伍。拥有一支结构合理、年轻化、博士化的高水平教师队伍。拥有“全国十大杰出青年法学家”、“百千万人才工程”国家级人选、教育部“新世纪优秀人才”、江苏省“333工程高层次人才”等各层次高级人才。三是一流的办学条件与良好的人才培养质量。拥有5000多平方米的现代化办公场所，建有装备先进的模拟法庭、电子阅览等教学设施、专业图书达3万余册的院资料室以及15个的教学实习基地，办学条件一流。

 

培养目标

1．    掌握马列主义毛泽东思想和邓小平理论，有良好的敬业精神和合作精神。

2．    系统掌握法学基本理论，具有严谨的治学态度、较好的学术修养；能够独立思考，具有较强的发现、分析、解决法律和法学问题的能力和科研写作能力；能够掌握和运用正确的研究方向和科学的研究方法。

3．    比较熟练地掌握一门外国语，能够阅读和翻译本专业的外文资料，并具备一定的听、说能力。

4．    坚持体育锻炼，具有良好的身体和心理素质。

一般为2-2.5年，最长可延至4年。

 

学分要求和课程设置（见附表）

 

学位论文

文献阅读

在论文选题及研究方向范围内至少阅读文献30篇，其中外文文献10篇，完成一篇综述。

 

论文撰写

除符合学校规定外，学位论文必须是一篇系统、完整的学术论文，要求概念清楚、立论正确、论述严谨、计算正确、数据可靠，且层次分明、文笔简洁、流畅、图标清晰。

 

论文学术水平

学位论文应在调查研究的基础上，选择有一定学术价值，对国民经济发展有一定意义的课题。围绕论文开展科研工作的时间不少于1年。

Brief Introduction of Discipline (within 400 words)

Law Science is the characteristic discipline in Jiangsu province. Since the re-establishment of law school in 2006, law disciplines continue to grow and develop and has become the focus of the school development one of the subjects, formed apparent advantages and characteristics. One is the cross, teamwork and practical features in running a school. In addition to the 4 relatively stable subdisciplines such as "constitutional and administrative law, jurisprudence, criminal law and civil law", it has develop "team, cross, practical" school running characteristics by means of our university’s strong discipline advantage. Two is the good structure and strong teachers. It has a younger teachers team with reasonable structure and high academic level. It has the "National Ten Outstanding Young jurists", "millions of Talents Project" national candidate, the Ministry of education "program for New Century Excellent Talents in Jiangsu province", "the 333 high-level personnel training project" and other various levels of senior talents. Three is the first-class school conditions and good quality of personnel training. With more than 5000 square meters of modern office space, built with advanced equipment of simulated court, electronic reading teaching facilities, professional books and more than 3 copies of the reference room and 15 teaching practice base, conditions are a first-class.

 

Training Objectives (about 150 words, the following content is for reference only)

 

1. Master the Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping theory, have good professionalism and team spirit.

 

2. Master the basic theory of law, with a rigorous academic attitude, good academic accomplishment; the ability to think independently, with strong discovery, analysis, solve the legal problem of scientific research capacity and writing ability; grasp and use correct research direction and research method.

 

3. Master a foreign language, can read and translate the professional foreign language data, and have some listening, speaking ability.

 

4. Have good physical and psychological quality.

 

 

Research Direction

Thesis

Literature Reading

Students are required to read at least 30 literatures on topics related to their thesis and research direction including 10                     literatures in foreign languages and to write a literature overview.

 

Thesis Writing

In addition to compliance with the provisions of school, thesis must be written in a systematic and complete manner, presenting clear concepts, correct argument, realistic description, concise writing structure, smooth and concise writing style, correct calculation, reliable data, and clear icons.

 

Thesis Evaluation

Thesis should be written based on students’ own study and research. The findings presented in the thesis should have higher academic value and positive impact on economic development of China. Students are required to conduct at least one year research.

(1) The minimum total-credit requirements of Master's curricula: 28 credits for students of science and engineering; 30 credits for students of medical science; 34 credits for students of arts and management sciences. The minimum credit requirements of degree courses: 16 credits for students of science and engineering; 18 credits for students of arts, management science and medicine; other credits in non-degree courses. In addition, students should obtain3 credits from compulsory courses.

(2) All courses are normally required to be completed within one and half years after registration. Degree courses are normally required to be completed within one year after registration.
